Accident Compensation (Occupational Health and Safety) Act 1996 (Vic) - None

The main purposes of this Act are (a) to transfer various responsibilities in relation to the administration of the Dangerous Goods Act 1985, the Equipment (Public Safety) Act 1994 and the Occupational Health and Safety Act 1985 to the Victorian WorkCover Authority; and (b) to provide for the transfer of staff involved in administering those Acts to the Victorian WorkCover Authority; and (c) to amend the Accident Compensation Act 1985, the Dangerous Goods Act 1985, the Equipment (Public Safety) Act 1994 and the Occupational Health and Safety Act 1985.
