Summary of Changes from Previous Version

27/8/2024: Version 2 of the Schedule with minor changes was published following approval from the Academic Board on 29 July 2024 and approval from Council for the Titles Regulations on 26 August 2024.

Version 2 has been updated on 27 August 2024 with the addition of Adjunct Industry Professor with Level E capability into the Honorary Appointments Policy titles and Titles Regulations. The Professor of Practice title has been removed from the Honorary Appointments Policy titles and Titles Regulations. The transitional clause 41 has been removed from the Honorary Appointments Policy.

The addition of this title ensures RMIT can continue to acknowledge expertise and recognition in business, public sector, not-for-profit, professional or cultural communities and who will develop the research, learning and teaching or engagement activity at the University. While this change ensures existing Industry Adjuncts can be reappointed, it also means new appointments at an appropriate level can be made.

13/10/2023: Addition of clause 41 on 13/10/2023 to manage transitional arrangements where there is not an appropriate honorary title.
