Summary of Changes from Previous Version
This is a new procedure developed under the direction of the DVCE and separated from current Program and Course Approval Requirements. This document now provides the mandatory HE program and course design framework and support for academics and learning and teaching staff to identify and apply curriculum design requirements, including those for all HE award types, pathways, nested and exit awards. This document includes CA design elements , including the embedding of mandatory Industry Partnered Learning (IPL) experiences. All award types and design elements are identified and defined to provide greater clarity. Requirement of program design to map to the RMIT Capabilities with direction to the CEID Resource Hub for a complete description and guidance in embedding to award levels and program learning outcomes. Coursework program design structural component requirements are documented including AQF award level, volume of learning and credit points required for all higher education awards.
