Summary of Changes from Previous Version
1/7/2024: The Defence Research Policy is intended to outline RMIT’s commitment to, and support the conduct of, ethical and responsible defence research. This policy was approved for publication by the Academic Board on 25 March 2024 (02/2024) with an effective date of 1 July 2024.
8/11/2024: Minor amendments approved by the DVCRI on 25 October 2024 as follows:
• 6 (b) (v): Add the Defence Trade Controls Amendment Act 2024 to the non-exhaustive list of relevant laws enacted by the Commonwealth, States or Territories of Australia.
• Clause 24: Reference to the Guidance Note on Defence Research Policy (Researcher Portal).
