Summary of Changes from Previous Version
- The former Program Course Approval Processes was superseded by three Program and Course Approval Procedures (Vocational Education and Training, Higher Degree by Research, and Higher Education Coursework, Short Courses and Micro-credentials), as part of the major Program and Course Policy review in 2023. Changes to the Program and Course Approval Processes include:
- Separation of former Program and Course Approval Processes provides greater clarity and detailed guidance for stakeholders in HE Coursework program approval, delivery, management and discontinuation, and in response to stakeholder feedback.
- New sections provide greater detail and guidance for program and course discontinuations, and a defined approvals pathway for short courses and micro-credentials, as well as governance pathways for program majors and minors.
