Summary of Changes from Previous Version
20/12/2023 Major updates to incorporate quality review cycles developed by CAQE and approved by Academic Board, incorporating RAC desktop audit feedback and organisational changes to VE program accountabilities. Scope is clarified in greater detail and excludes VCE. Reference to CAQE Program Review Terms of Reference that supports the operational aspect of the procedure. Provides for the responsibilities for ongoing course monitoring for HE and VE, the minimum evidence thresholds for course monitoring and program enhancement plans. Provides the rules for comprehensive program rules including the rules for reviewing curriculum and pedagogy, evidence of student feedback, Student Staff Consultative Committees, review of Industry Partnered Engagement, external validation and evidence for equivalence and comparability of standards across multiple modes and locations. The rules for benchmarking in comprehensive program and course reviews are now documented in the new Program and Course External Referencing and Benchmarking Procedure (see below). Embedded links to CAQE SharePoint site to flowcharts document the approved review process and process for demonstrating equivalence and comparability of courses offered in multiple locations.
