How to make a comment?
1. Use this to open a comment box for your chosen Section, Part, Heading or clause.
2. Type your feedback into the comments box and then click "save comment" button located in the lower-right of the comment box.
3. Do not open more than one comment box at the same time.
4. When you have finished making comments proceed to the next stage by clicking on the "Continue to Step 2" button at the very bottom of this page.
Important Information
During the comment process you are connected to a database. Like internet banking, the session that connects you to the database may time-out due to inactivity. If you do not have JavaScript running you will recieve a message to advise you of the length of time before the time-out. If you have JavaScript enabled, the time-out is lengthy and should not cause difficulty, however you should note the following tips to avoid losing your comments or corrupting your entries:

DO NOT jump between web pages/applications while logging comments.

DO NOT log comments for more than one document at a time. Complete and submit all comments for one document before commenting on another.

DO NOT leave your submission half way through. If you need to take a break, submit your current set of comments. The system will email you a copy of your comments so you can identify where you were up to and add to them later.

DO NOT exit from the interface until you have completed all three stages of the submission process.
(1) The purpose of these Regulations is to make further provision relating to the awarding of honorary degrees. (2) These Regulations are made under the RMIT Statute No. 1 and sections 28, 29 and 30 of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology Act 2010. (4) The honorary degrees which may be conferred by Council are: (5) A submission for the conferring of an honorary degree must be made in accordance with the relevant policies and procedures. (6) A submission made under clause (5) must be: (7) No fees are payable for admission to any degree under these Regulations. (8) All persons associated with the nominations and approval process in respect of an honorary degree must treat the matter in confidence. (9) Without limiting clause (8) the person nominated must not be notified until the award of the honorary degree has been approved. (10) A recommendation must be made in accordance with the relevant policies and procedures. (11) If the Nominations, Remuneration and People Committee approves the conferring of the honorary degree, the Vice-Chancellor ascertains whether the nominee is willing to receive the award and: (12) Subject to the relevant policies and procedures, an honorary degree testamur is presented at an appropriate conferring ceremony by such person as Council appoints. (13) Notwithstanding clause (12), in exceptional circumstances an honorary degree may, by Council resolution, be conferred in absentia or posthumously. (14) Any honorary degree or award conferred on any person prior to the commencement of these Regulations is treated as having been validly approved and conferred under these Regulations.Honorary Degrees Regulations
