18/7/2024: The Deputy Vice-Chancellor Education’s (DVCE) approved the temporary adjustment of the EAL English entry requirements into RMIT associate degree and bachelor's programs for intakes effective from Semester 1, 2025 for applicants with a completed English as Another Language (EAL) study score as part of the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or Australian year 12 equivalent. This update was approved by the DVCE on 5 July 2024 and is to take effect from 29 July 2024. The effective date is when the latest version of this document took effect, with approved minor amendments. The review date is 18 December 2023, which is three years from the major review or initial approval of the overarching policy. 26/06/2023: Addition of subclause (a) to section 10 to meet the RMIT University External ESOS Audit 2022 requirements regarding the English waiver request processes, decision makers and appeal processes.English Language Proficiency Procedure
