Summary of Changes from Previous Version

This new procedure was approved on 18 November 2023 by the policy owner. The procedure applies to all information and data at RMIT and outlines the lifecycle and associated requirements for the management of this information and data. Broadly, it divides information and data by the policy which will govern it: o Institutional Data (Information Governance Policy) o Research Data (Research Policy) o Unofficial Information (Information Technology and Security Policy) - this will be important for data minimisation.
