This is a new procedure developed under the direction of the DVCE and based on benchmarking of sector-wide practices, this document serves as a framework for colleges to clarify management accountabilities and responsibilities. The procedure defines academic leadership responsibilities for oversight and quality assurance of new or existing award programs. It prescribes the managerial framework for program and course design, delivery and professional accreditation. By creating a separate procedure, users can engage with aspects relevant to them through an improved structure and elevated visibility of academic management responsibilities. There is room for evolution in the context of emerging program structures and variations introduced by student choice in a diverse range of majors and minors available in their program.Program and Course Academic Management Procedure - Higher Education Coursework
