Summary of Changes from Previous Version

11/08/2025: The Awarding of Distinguished Professor Title Instruction (previously a PDF document) was replaced by the updated RMIT Distinguished Professor Award Guideline and appendices, as approved by the Vice-President, People & Culture, and the Vice-Chancellor, Research & Innovation on 6 August 2025.

This update will:
- refine the eligibility criteria to ensure they are fit for purpose
- revise the award provisions associated with the title, and
- address key process gaps and improve clarity within the guidelines
