(1) The purpose of these Regulations is to make further provision in relation to intellectual property and to establish the intellectual property committee. (2) These Regulations are made under the RMIT Statute No. 1 and sections 28, 29 and 30 of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology Act 2010. (3) There is an Intellectual Property Committee (the committee). (4) The committee is an advisory committee to the Vice-Chancellor. (5) Membership and conduct of meetings of the committee is as determined by the committee’s terms of reference, as approved by the Vice-Chancellor. (6) The committee is responsible for all aspects of University intellectual property and without limiting the generality of the same: (7) Where the sub-committee is unable to resolve any dispute submitted to it under clause (6)g., the staff member or student may appeal to the Vice-Chancellor. (8) On the commencement of these Regulations the following Regulations are revoked:Intellectual Property Regulations
