It will provide details on responsibilities and requirements for data architecture, data quality, master data management and data analytics.
- Data Quality GuidelineThis document provides guidance to enable staff to ensure data meets the requirements of the Data Quality Standard. It provides steps to support assessment, validation, monitoring, control and maintenance of data quality.
- Data Quality StandardThis document outlines the standard required for the quality of data and information at RMIT. It includes requirements for the accuracy, validity, completeness, timeliness, uniqueness and consistency of RMIT data and information.

These revisions were the result of benchmarking, analysis, and stakeholder engagement across the RMIT Group, led by Legal Services with input from key stakeholders. The revised policy was approved by the University Council on 11 December 2023. The procedure was approved by the COO on 15 December 2023.
